Fr. Tikhon Krueger

Our rector

Priest Tikhon Krueger

Rector of St. Mary’s Holy Dormition Orthodox Church

Fr. Tikhon grew up in the American West and studied the natural sciences before seminary. He taught high school, worked for close to a decade as a professional brewer in the Pacific Northwest, and ran a small sea salt farm; along the way, parish life and the counsel of clergy drew him toward the priesthood. He trained at St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary in South Canaan, Pennsylvania, and serves St. Mary’s as rector. He and Matushka Clare have seven children.

Fr. Tikhon is glad to talk with visitors after any service, or by appointment: book a time on the Contact page. His story at St. Tikhon’s Seminary ›
